My professional practice is guided by a dedication to service, innovation, and collaboration. I have led initiatives that enhance teaching, learning, and research, including developing subject-specific research guides, integrating digital tools and open educational resources, and strengthening information literacy instruction. I am especially skilled in APA citation and academic writing support, ensuring students and faculty can engage confidently with scholarship while upholding ethical research practices.
Beyond the library, I am an educator and mentor, teaching courses such as Academic Writing, Gerontology, and Digital Discipleship, where I integrate critical thinking, digital tools, and professional ethics to prepare learners for success in a global knowledge economy. My research interests—particularly the role of social media as a ministry tool—demonstrate my commitment to exploring innovative intersections between technology, education, and community engagement.
As Chief Librarian of the Aaron Joseph Matalon Library at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean, I lead with a vision of transforming the library into a hub of digital innovation, scholarly exchange, and inclusive access. By building strong collaborations with faculty, advancing digital transformation, and developing future-focused programs, I strive to position the academic library as a cornerstone of student success and institutional growth.
