The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) is proud to present to you our very own journal - Journal of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology for Global Competitiveness.

This peer-reviewed, open-access international journal highlights research conducted both within the Caribbean and internationally, with a focus on topics of particular interest and relevance to the wider Caribbean community. The current issue features a diverse range of articles, including four that explore the Caribbean experience directly, one examining the entrepreneurial journey of Caribbean business owners in England, and another offering an international perspective on tourism.

Topics covered include:

  • Marketing in the Margins: How Scarcity Mindsets Impact Creative Strategy Among Afro-Caribbean Entrepreneurs
  • Women Entrepreneurship in Jamaica, student submission, Charlene Clunie-Brown, Hanna-K. Hobbs, and Donnette Samuda)
  • From Shareholder Focus to Stakeholder Focus: An Enterprise Risk Management Paradigm Shift in the Jamaican Banking Sector by Dr. Natasha Grant;
