About UCC Library

The Aaron Joseph Matalon Library is a crucial support department of the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC), operating under the oversight of the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Academic Affairs, Dr. Yvonne Dawkins. The library's main branch is located at 17 Worthington Avenue and is the central hub for academic resources, research, and student support.

In addition to the main library, the Aaron Joseph Matalon Library extends its reach through resource centers strategically situated at UCC's various regional centers. These include the Mandeville, May Pen, Ocho Rios, and Montego Bay Centers, providing students and faculty at these locations with access to a comprehensive range of learning materials and support services.

The library fosters academic excellence at UCC by providing access to a rich collection of books, journals, digital resources, and other educational materials. It also supports the university’s academic programs through information literacy training, research assistance, and personalized academic support, ensuring all students have the resources they need to succeed in their studies.
